efig's Annual General Meeting

on Monday, 22 May 2017. Posted in News

Calling all efig members: Last Friday (19 May 2017),  all efig members should have received an email letter from chairman, Chris Jenkin, inviting them to attend the AGM. The letter included links to the Agenda and the minutes of last year's AGM. (If you haven't received yours, please check your spam or contact Joanna).

The efig AGM will take place on Wednesday, 14th of June at The Museum of London Docklands (No.1 Warehouse, West India Quay, Canary Wharf, London E14 4AL) at 3 pm. Prior to the meeting, we will be visiting Crossrail Place Roof Gardens (One Canada Square, Canary Wharf, London E14 5AB) from 1.30pm.

Chris emphasised that he hoped to see many members at the AGM, "We will be discussing many of the important points raised at the Strategy Day. One of the key decisions reached on strategy day was to consider a name change, partly due to our impending exit from Europe. The new name proposed by the committee is Plants at Work and we’d aim to formally adopt this at the AGM.

"It is your opportunity to hear what has been happening and learn our plans for the coming year. If you are unable to attend, please let us have your proxy votes; these will be taken into account during the election of the committee and the changes planned on the day."

All members are invited to join the committee at the meeting. Please let us know if you intend to be there. For your convenience we have set up an on-line registration and voting page.
