In this international series, created by Flower Council of Holland, we represent people with a great passion for flowers and plants. People who have made a life of their passion as a florist, artist or stylist. For this edition, number 18, we take you on a journey with Petalon in London.

 

Osmanthus for November

Sweetly-scented shrub
Osmanthus is a holly-like shrub with leathery, sharp leaves and small white scented flowers. This plant has various cultivars which all differ in terms of leaf colour. It is an evergreen shrub which is also very suitable for topiary or hedging.

Cyclamen for November - not as delicate as it looks

Thanks to its white and brightly coloured flowers, the cool Cyclamen (Cyclamen persicum) is the ideal plant to combat the dark day blues. It may look delicate, but it’s a strong bloomer that emerges from a sturdy corm. It offers all sorts of excitements.
